Tribal Elders

We are looking for passionate and committed adults to serve as PRYDE Elders at our Youth Leadership Camp. These volunteers play a critical role in mentoring, guiding, and supporting our youth participants as they explore personal growth, leadership, and service.

To be considered for these roles, applicants must meet the follow criteria:

    1. Minimum Age Requirement: You must be at least 21 years old by the start of camp.
    2. Heart for Youth Development: We are seeking individuals who are genuinely interested in working with youth and fostering a positive, empowering camp experience.
    3. Commitment to the Program: You must be available for the entire duration of the camp and willing to participate fully in all scheduled activities, meetings, and group discussions.
    4. Training Participation: Attendance at all pre-camp training sessions is mandatory. These trainings are essential to prepare for your role, understand camp expectations, and build team unity.
    5. Rule Adherence: You must be willing to follow all camp rules and Rotary Youth Protection policies, including guidelines for appropriate behavior, boundaries, and safety.
    6. Background Check Requirement: All Elders must be able to pass a Livescan background check prior to participating in camp.
    7. Physical Readiness: You must be physically fit enough to participate in all camp activities throughout the weekend. This includes w walking, standing for extended periods, and actively engaging with youth.
    8. Team Spirit and Leadership Support: DGLs and Elders are expected to bring positive energy, flexibility, and a collaborative attitude to support both the youth and the leadership team.
